Hi, Leah! I spent about an hour reading your blog last night and wow…just wow. The pictures alone made me hungry. One of the many things I loved about your blog is you include the ‘So, How’s It Taste’ sectioin (hence the name of your blog). This is such a wonderful insight into how it turns out and I admire the honesty you put into it. I’m looking forward to trying this icebox cake along with a couple dozen other recipes. You rock!

Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for posting about the No-Bake Strawberry Icebox Cake! It is one fabulous summer dessert, in my opinion. But just to clarify, in my post I do mention that the graham crackers soften. That’s how it turns into a cake-like texture. Soggy graham crackers doesn’t sound like a yummy dessert, but it truly is. I hope you enjoy it!

I hear what you’re saying. This holds true for so many recipes out there. Take the basic chocolate chip cookie. There are hundreds of variations. One day someone decided to add Nutella to the mix and a handful of walnuts. Whola! A new recipe. Thousands post it. Some add it to church cookbooks. More variations. Of all the recipes posted on blogs, Pinterest, etc, you have to wonder who the original publisher was. I’m sure there are a hundreds of recipes for buttered rosemary rolls, but this is the one that I stumbled on. I made it, loved it, wrote about it and credited the source where I got it from.

I do agree that people should put in a little more effort into crediting their sources. You are right.
