Is it me or is the price of Febreze teetering on the line of slightly ridiculous? I don’t go overboard with this stuff, however, when I do my once a week deep house cleaning, I like to give the curtains, sofa and carpets a little spritz. At $5 or more per bottle, I cringe when I purchase Febreze. Seriously!? I don’t mind forking out the cash for a cleaning product that sends me doing cartwheels down the street, but Febreze isn’t a cleaning product. It freshens fabric. That’s it.
I spend quite a bit of time scoping the internet for people who have a knack for saving money and aren’t afraid to brag about it. I gravitate towards those who take an interest in couponing. Although I’ve been a savvy bargain shopper my entire life, I’ve never fully entered the land of couponing. I truly admire those that do. The fall weather will be here shortly. Like so many others, I get a little excited. My kitchen becomes a haven for those cold weather comfort foods. It’s no longer too hot for the oven to be on, the crockpot is taken out of hibernation, aromas of pumpkin, apples and roasted vegetables fills the house and my soup pot gets a workout.
